Mr. Schön was born in Austria and graduated from the University of Economics in Vienna (Business Administration).

He gained his first professional experience with the Bank of Austria and Erste Bank in Vienna.

He joined Hypo Alpe Adria Bank AG in 2011 and after gaining extensive experience as Group Board Assistant to the CFO in Klagenfurt, in 2013 he took over Board responsibilities as the CEO and CFOO of Hypo Alpe Adria's Headquarters in Podgorica, now Addiko Bank AD Podgorica.

He is married and is the father of six children. In addition to his native German, he also speaks English fluently and has a working knowledge of Russian and French.

In November 2016 Mr. Schön was appointed to the significant role of MFIC President.
